What size UPS do I need?
Add up the running watts (or VA) of the connected load, add ~25% headroom, then choose a UPS whose VA/Watt rating exceeds that. For runtime, match the battery to the minutes you need at that load.
What is online double-conversion?
The load always runs from the inverter, which is continuously fed by the rectifier/battery, so there is zero transfer time and the output is fully regenerated — the best protection for sensitive equipment.
